What is the adoption procedure?

After you choose an animal from the site or simply pay us a visit:

We have a discussion about what it means to take care of an animal;
Home check: we pay you a visit to check the conditions the adopted animal will live in;
You sign an adoption contract;
You send us pictures / videos with the adopted animal; on request you allow us to visit;
If it's a puppy/kitten, you will sterilize it at the right time (we can also suggest vets we work with);
If you are forced to give it up for any reason, let us know and we will find a solution for him.

Yes, we know, a list a bit longer than what you expected - but the goal here is to make sure that everyone gets to live a happy, pleasant life: you and your family, but also the animal you have adopted.

How much does it cost to adopt an animal?

There is no adoption fee. Moreover, most of our adult animals are already neutered.

The only immediate cost will be the registration as owner of the adopted animal, which is required by law. This means either updating the information, if the animal already has a chip, or registration and chipping. For animal lovers outside Romania: we'll handle most of the procedures related to transporting the animal abroad. Do get in touch with us to talk details!
